“Promoting Black Men’s Health and Well-Being in 2023” with Dr. Derek Griffith!

This August, we were excited to welcome Dr. Derek Griffith to our Customer Care Hour!

Dr. Derek M. Griffith is a Founding Co-Director of the Racial Justice Institute, Founder and Director of the Center for Men’s Health Equity, Member of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Professor of Health Management & Policy and Oncology at Georgetown University. He also serves as the Chair of Global Action on Men’s Health — a global men’s health advocacy organization.

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to hear directly from Dr. Griffith as he shared his deep knowledge and insights on men’s health equity. His presentation covered the blind spots inherent to the mindset that men often have about their own health, as well as how to help men to focus on balancing their personal well-being with the other demands of their life.
